We go into pre-production with a clear vision of the end game

Our paradigm is unique, “Spectral, spatial and temporal control of light.” That means at Lumencor, we can tailor the optical output of our Light Engines and Scanners to meet the most demanding requirements for image quality and quantitation, keeping your design specifications in view. We build a first article with as few design iterations as possible to meet your OEM needs.

CORE Optical Train

The CORE advances screening instrumentation with an illuminator match to the fluors’ spectra; optimized filters and dichroic for maximum S/N; a high speed camera; and control electronics. The optical train is optimized for sensitivity and throughput while the HW packaging and analysis package are left to the OEM or third-party manufacturer as integrator. The CORE streamlines development time and cost for new instruments, improves instrument performance and delivers cost savings to end users and high volume manufacturers.

TARGA Imager

The TARGA high-throughput imaging system combines all the key components necessary for best data quality and speed: a high-performance solid state light engine, precision motion control, a sCMOS camera and a dedicated computer. Consistent assay performance over days, weeks and months of operation is possible with a uniquely stable, reliable, maintenance-free light source. Options include homeostatic chamber, automated sample-introduction with barcode tracking, confocal imaging capabilities and autonomous operation.

VOLTA Plate Reader

VOLTA is a Lumencor plate reader that can be tailored to provide assay-specific performance, be that for a completely novel assay protocol or for a routine assay that requires optimization for sensitivity or speed. Kinetics on the order of milliseconds are routinely monitored. Microtitre plate formats of standardize and custom design are accommodated. Both intra-assay and inter-instrument repeatability is uniquely robust.
